Dear Friends,

Thank you for praying for my dear wife, and the First Lady of FWBT. Thank you for every card, every letter, every email, every financial gift, every floral gift, every encouraging word, every offer to help, every deed done, every thought on our behalf. Thank you for every single expression of love.

We will never forget your kindness. We have been amazed by the love of God's people, and sustained by the mighty love of God! He has manifested Himself in an amazing way, especially during the last few weeks. We are so very grateful for God’s sustaining love, His strengthening power, and His abiding presence. He has carried us through this valley thus far and no doubt He will walk with us all the way to the end, when we all meet in a land where death never enters and teardrops never fall.

Thank you to those of you who attended her viewing, home going service, or interment. Many special friends drove and/or flew many miles to honor her memory, and we will never forget your sacrifice to get here, and your effort to be an encouragement.

My wife spent her life trying to influence others for the Lord, and literally gave herself away to God’s cause, and His people. I believe it would please her and the Lord to make this offer: If you would like a free copy of either of her two piano music CDs, (Piano Praises or Christmas Piano), simply email your address and we would be happy to send a copy.

If you would like to send a comment, or share a memory of how God used my sweet wife to influence your life, we would be happy to receive it via email. You can access preacher@fwbt.org by clicking on the email button to the left.

Thank you again for your prayers, love, and friendship. Thank you to everyone who stood by our side during the hardest trial of our lives. Thank you for exemplifying Prov. 17:17. Thank you especially to the loyal, faithful people of FWBT who stood by our family through this most difficult time. Most of all, thank the dear Lord for loving our family, for meeting our needs, and for the precious promises of John 14!

An unworthy, but happy servant of the most high God,

R. A. Smith
